Seems so....
- Most successful XBLA/PSN games would make good coin-op
- smaller amounts of money spent for less complex more instantly gratifying gaming experiences.
From a sales standpoint - the pricepoint easily positions this market to take off and really enhance current/next gen console software sales and profits.
I dont include virtual console in this. I am talking new exclusive games that are downloadable only.
What say you?

In a sense. The best DL games are very reminiscent of the arcade experience.
-Quick burst of fun
-Scores matter. Beating everyone else's score moreso
-Addictive gameplay
-
all that's missing are the physical fights and pushing/shoving to get a glance of who's playing. that's the shit i'll miss. i almost got into a couple fights back in the day when SF2 was hot.

yo remember when the new premier games of the week would come out and the arcade owner or machine distributor would put that extra display monitor up top so passers by and the crowd could see?
-
And much like Arcades, nobody is playing them! :lol
I can't find shit for matches on Puzzle Fighter

It's a shame they only really have a 1-2 month lifespan in that regard. I still haven't finished space giraffe, it's like after that one month period all motivation dies in a fire. Same with Geometry Wars. :(

Yeah, there needs to be a central lobby so you can look for opponents.
HOME :o

Preferably something that doesn't induce douche chills.
;D
-
Home gives you douche chills?
