My friend did this about a month and a half ago, his vision is 20/20 now, although he sees that rainbow effect in certain lighting.
Personally, I wouldn't mind more rainbows in my life.
rainbows made of pure gold
Is there a certain age limit or anything that may make me unable to have it? I'm 22 and have Astigmatism in my right eye.I had astigmatism but then for a summer in middle school I didn't wear glasse and my eyes healed themselves. How I found out is that when I put on my glasses for school, they blurred my vision more so I went to the optometrist and he said my eyes reverted back to 20/20. You might want to ask your optometrist what you should do but mine said it only works for astigmatism and not far-sightedness or near-sightedness. If you're left eye works fine, you can just try it yourself for a couple months and read with the left eye only.
Lasik MD is Canada's leading provider of laser vision correction. As of 2007, LASIK MD performs approximately 40% of the laser vision correction procedures in Canada. [1]
LASIK MD was founded in 2001 by Dr. Mark Cohen and Dr. Avi Wallerstein
It's possible to get one eye done at a time, I believe... astigmatisms I think can be fixed as well but its on a case-by-case basis. I was myopic (nearsighted) in both eyes (20/400), which is ideal for LASIK.
Cajole: Well, if you don't mind driving to Commack/Dix Hills I would put in a hearty recommendation for my eye doctor.
I dunno, it would be nice to have fixed vision, but I think I'd still wear glasses. I can't imagine myself without glasses. Hell, I don't like the way I look without them.
