PoPoLoCrois can likely make you stab your eyes out from the ghosting.
FFV being one of the best games ever, wins. Of course SotN is also one of the best games ever but it's likely you could get sidetracked by playing something else on the collection.

I played a little bit of Popolocrois.  The ghosting is really bad but I think I can handle it.  It's not a long game, anyway, I think.

Nah, most of my gaming lately has been restricted to portables.  I play the game for an hour on the way to work, then another hour on the way back, and then I just sit down next to my laptop and chat with you dodes while I play.

The only iffy game on that list is Popolocrois.  Everything else is quality.  I dunno why folks have their dander up.

I played it about eight or nine years ago on emu with the translation patch but I never finished it.  I hear they added new jobs to the GBA version omg

I just hope they don't suck/are hard to get like the new ones in the PSP version of FFT.

I've pretty much played all the Castlevania, Mega Man, and Final Fantasy V that I need to for one lifetime.

I voted FF5 since it's my favorite FF ever, although you can probably juggle this game and one of the action games on your list with ease.

I've had Popolocrois PSP (and the PSX import) for years but never bothered to try them. How are they, apart from the ghosting?

Well, I guess I'm playing Final Fantasy V.  I guess my Square retro sexperience is not over yet.
