Title: How was the Gothic series?

The box set with all 3 games is only going for $30.  Some gamers swear that it's a far superior series to The Elder Scrolls.

I remember being amazed at Gothic 2.  But wow, is the UI crap.  If you didn't like Elder Scrolls, you won't like this
