I'm so sick of reading this.
Explain please.

If the ps2 and therefore the Wii are capble of it it's not next gen.
...So waggle != next gen, and therefore PS3 is not next-gen due to its SUXASSES or whatever motion controller, and 360 is not next gen because it is waggle free, like the PS2...

what
-
cheeseburger wiggler
-
anything that can't be done on ps2/xbox/wii level hardware
-
Next gen gaming is about the CPU not the GPU

Like Crysis?
-
Need a good CPU for better AI and more stuff in the environment.
I have never played Crysis - but it sure looks nice!
-
PORTAL
-
I think when the gameplay is expanded to new directions. So far, from what people are saying, DMC4 seems to be using the same old mechanics with a new coat of paint. Obviously only those who have completed DMC4 will know for sure.

Next-Gen gameplay is basically a good way of saying you dont like a game without having to elaborate as to why. Because when asked what Next-Gen gameplay is we say 'it isnt what is now'. I mean that isn't even fair. Especially since any game that breaks status quo (COUGH Burnout Paradise) gets pooped on cause after 8 games or whatever they didnt make the 9th one the same while introducing gameplay thats never been seen before.
Wtf does that mean.

At least MAF is consistent with his exaggerated number of Burnout games.

Truth be told, FOR GAMES I ACTUALLY HAVE PLAYED, I spend less time per game than most of you, I generally stick by my guns down the road. I feel what I feel about games, and thats really that. I spend so little time with a game that breaking down its parts doesnt overshadow the experience. Im not a game developer nor do I aspire to be, im here for the ride kids!
Now there are infinite amount of times i've hated a game before playing it and loved it to death afterwards, but I almost always own up to that too. In short, dont listen to my hate if I havent played it yet. Its ok to listen to positive thoughts from me tho, cause thats just wishful thinking and that hurts no one :)

:-[
And MAF, I don't know why you felt the need to post all that. Well, maybe it was for other people I guess. You know I appreciate your opinion. :D
-
I think a lot of people like a bunch of long blah blah but I think there's a lot of worth in initial impressions and qualifying those first feelings.
-
i can see why you only play your games for a limited time. the first impression feeling is usually the best. or worse in some cases (ie: mass effect, nights wii)
-
everything is fun initially, after a few hours tho its human nature to DESTROY IT UTTERLY!
-
next-gen gaming is devil may cry 4
-
It's a WWII game from the Nazi's perspective.
-
which is also an awesome game
-
Super Mario Galaxy. :wiitard
-
Instead of controllers we need suits. WE NEED TO FEEL THE GAME!!!!
The next nintendo console should hurt you everytime you mess up. IMMERSION :bow

I once played a fighting arcade game that used IR cameras. It was glitchy as hell. I knew when I had problems selecting the fighter that the game would suck. Gathered quite a crowd though.
