They were probably thinking, "I really want to be able to pay my rent next month."

Its still a really small niche that goes for these types of games. I'd bet that Warashi will make more coin out of the limited print Dreamcast run at 5,000 or so full priced copies then they will at 20,000(if they're lucky) ten buck downloads. I'm thrilled that 2D shooters are living on in the next-gen, but I won't begrudge the developers for not devaluing their own product.

It was pretty cool. The absorb system seems really neat because it can be tense absorbing shit while you're in the middle of a BULLET HELL onslaught. The loli shit is wtf but overall, it seems solid and worth the price tag, especially since the dc version is expensive as shit apparently. I've wanted to play it for a since some dudes at shmups.com seem to like it a bit. I should be getting this, plus Rez HD, and Omega-5 soon. SHOOTERS!

First level was pretty easy though. I'm not sure if they toned the difficulty down for the demo but with the way the 360's analog stick is designed it was really easy to control and I was gliding through bullets like it was nothing. Got 2 million points first try like it was nothing. lol

Also, the text is fucking impossible to read on an sdtv. :lol I never had a problem with Dead Rising, Lost Odyssey, or Blue Dragon. They were small but not impossible, but this shit is wtf. Not that it matters but still!

why is the ost different? by different i don't mean compressed, it's just sound "different" than the arcade version.

edit: the arranged versions are closer, guess they used arranged? hmmm....
