I picked this up for a friend of mine from the "do's and don'ts" baby thread. Apparently all of those images are from this book.

And I bought a couple of sucky Threadless shirts. I typically hate a majority of the designs they print, but I saw this one and had to have it:

I've been satisfied with surrendering to the idea that ear buds just can't do bass well. If the Shures are THAT much better, I will pick them up. So tell me.

Could you link to that on Amazon? I can't find it because so much shit has playboy in the title. That sounds legitimately interesting. And you are a board game nerd, too <3 I don't know any other board game nerds in real life so I am out of that :(

Tomorrow, I'm getting together with a bunch of guys to play Attack!, Civilization, Axis and Allies before finishing up with some 8-player Halo 2 rocketball.

Monopoly is no longer allowed in my group. We played one game from 10pm to 3am... one friend threatened us with death if we kept going. She has now outlawed Monopoly at all our gatherings.

there's a set variation called Last Night On Earth which addresses the pacing problems

but let me tell you, we used to play zombies with the sole intent of fucking one player in the ass throughout the whole game. you didn't know who it would be, but the first person to show weakness was destroyed systematically for the rest of the game

great fun.

I keep hoping to find a lot of those on the cheap, but it's hard to find at reasonable prices (like trying to find old issues of mondo 2000)

I guess it didn't sell well enough to try to bring into print his other stuff like his non-fiction and the like

which is kind of upsetting when you see the same publisher will print any old shit that PKD wrote on a napkin

He had like 5 novels in development when he died. I think they just pay someone to finish one off every couple of years. Or it might be Gene Roddenberry syndrome where his name is getting attached to things that he had an extremely tenuous connection to.
