Do you remember all those faceplates Microsoft kept showing us before launch?
Where the FUCK are they?!? It's almost a year later and these ass hats have released about 5 so far!
I was just messing around on my 360, and I watched that video that came pre-loaded on the hard drive. It's titled "A look inside Xbox 360". In that video, as well as many other places, I remember Microsoft showing off all these various face plates, and telling you how they wanted the gamers to customize their system to their liking. They were all about the people, and letting them do what they wanted with their system.
I know it's a small thing for some people, but I just can't help but wonder what the fuck is the hold up? It's honestly puzzling to me to say the least. These stupid things probably cost them less than a dollar to manufacture, and yet they seem to be sitting on their hands when it comes to releasing new ones to retail. It's not like making a fucking game where you're developing the damn thing for years. These stupid things could be shit out in a week if they wanted, and yet nothing.
The truth is they showed some pretty darn cool looking face plates, and of course the only ones they've released so far has been stupid to say the least. I just don't get their strategy with this shit.

Delete the videos and free up 2 gigs. And while you're doing that, think of how many people would buy a faceplate to put on a console.

Dude, my point is that they made the freaking things, they showed them to the public, and then they didn't release them. Thats just stupid.

Nintendo had those emblems that attach on top of the Gamecube. Only saw a handful of different ones. Only one that actually matched the console well was the Gundam one because the whole system had a custom paint job.
