I understand that if you built a PC today, you could get up to 4 GB without spending a lot of money. But a year ago, even if you wanted a PC that could supposedly handle Crysis well, you would probably only have 2 GB of RAM. Now considering this is a console port, why is it so high?? I'm guessing they just dump the whole city/kingdom into the RAM. I doubt there'll even be a noticeable improvement in textures. Still, it has double the recommended requirements of RAM then Crysis.

Crappy PC port would be my guess.

I love how a 360 controller is among the recommendations. This is going to be a great port.
-
woo yay pc gaming
-
yeah I know it's a crappy PC port when your minimum requirements are an X1300 and 2 GB or RAM.

Seriously though, those with lesser PCs need not worry. Many PC gamers have been saying that Ubi often exaggerates the recommended specs. 3gbs don't even make any sense since most high end systems won't be able to detect 3gb in XP.

The MINIMUM requirement of RAM (so you can not even run the game without this much RAM) is 2 GB. It's just a fast port. I'm guessing the game doesn't stream anything. I hope GTA4 runs better than this cause I'm a poor and I prefer GTA with a mouse/keyboard.

There ain't much I can do to upgrade the Shuttle Sexbox 6200 other than put a 3.0E P4 and a 3850 AGP in it.

It's 4gb that you're thinking. :) You can end up with it detecting less than that however as it considers the RAM on your video card as addressable space. But unless you had a video card with > 1gb of RAM on it, 3gb would not be an issue.
