It's called Narrow Stairs and it's hitting in MAY of THIS FUCKING YEAR. ALREADY. JUST A FEW SHORT MONTHS AWAY
:bow :bow :bow
YES YES YES.
ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2008? POSSIBLY!

Add hype, make fun of Bloodwake fanboyism in this thread

I'll bet it'll sound great on the
Garden State Juno next quirky indie comedy soundtrack!
-
Ugh. This band SUCKS.
-
hate this singer's voice SO MUCH. So bad.
-
Huh. Hopefully it's better than Plans.
Still longs for the good old days when I saw them live once or twice a month in Seattle for less than $10.
-
That teaser video on their site slightly reminds me of Something About Airplanes and We Have the Facts... :D
Holy shit, I can't believe I first saw them TEN YEARS AGO.

ALBUM OF THE YEAR 2008? POSSIBLY!
In a year when both Nick Cave and FUCKING BAUHAUS are releasing new albums?
-
I like Deathcab, but I also like to not feel like shit, and Plans had some make you feel like shit music, as decent as it was. Ill stick with The Shins people scoff at cause they heard some guy scoff at their stuff at an FYE
-
Death Cab for Pootie
-
FUCK THE HATERS
Eh, Plans was a down album, I'm not going to lie. Transatlanticism was probably their best, but that intro video, shit, it does remind me of Something about Airplanes a lot.
God, I can't fucking wait
CAN'T
FUCKING
WAIT

Go Away White comes out in early march, which means it should be leaking any time now. Same goes for Nick Cave's Dig, Lazarus, Dig.
-
I want a new Killers album. Sawdust was neat but I want a full blown new album. Shins should also make another album right now cause I cant get enough of Wincing the Night Away. I also want Jenny Lewis to say fuk u Rilo and do another solo album

Something About Airplanes was pretty much the soundtrack to my senior year of high school, and We Have the Facts was what I listened to as a college freshman. Photo Album and Trans have great tracks, but they aren't as special to me.

Basically Transatlanticism and Give Up (Postal Service) were the soundtrack to my junior year of high school, and Plans was for my senior year, so I can see that. Then, I got to see them LIVE last year for the first time.
With a new album comes NEW TOUR DATES!

I'm already sick of the single and I only listen to the radio in the car. It's always playing on either KROQ or that other station 98.7 whatever its called.

We know, we know.
Willco doesn't like indie comedies. He's sort of like the Tommy Lee Jones character in No Country. The acceptable form of comedy has shifted and it's too new and dangerous for him to enjoy. It's a sign that the world is changing from what he's used to.
Wow, that was pretty deep for a forum post, haha.
