First play of the 2nd half, Tom Brady gets cheapshotted by Michael Strahan and tears an ACL. Randy Moss becomes furious and attacks Strahan, getting thrown out of the game. Giants take the lead. Tom Brady attempts to make a heroic comeback in the 4th quarter but throws a game-losing interception after botching a pass to a wide open receiver in the endzone. Bill Belichick storms onto the field after the game, puches Tom Coughlin in the nose and admits that he cheated in Superbowl XXXVI before being arrested. Tom Brady is later reported to have aggreavated his injury and will be out for the entire 2008 season. Also, in a surprise twist, the Giants will later be discovered to have illegally taped the Patriots practice and will have their Superbowl title stripped from them and given to the Browns because they tried really hard this season.

Dude. All I read was the first page of this thread.

I'm disappointed that I missed Tom Petty. I had two parties to be at and misjudged how long it would take to get from the first to the second. :'(

I was totally rooting for the Giants because I didn't want the Pats to get the record. AND THEY WON! It was an EXCELLENT game on both sides though.

I hate when superbowls are blowouts. This one was anything but. Amazing.

Of course, the coin toss featured RICE AND YOUNG, two of football's best players OF ALL TIME. [Well, Young is pretty great, and Rice is FUCK AWESOME.]

I'm a Jets fan. :'(  So my ideal match-up would be Jets-LOL-and probably Giants, for an all NY/NJ superbowl.

Being realistic about it a Manning and Manning match up would be a media dream.

I was more rooting against the Pats than for the G-men.  I have no hate for the Giants, though.
