I only use CPS2PSP and MVSPSP. You'd find decent tutorials on how to use them on YouTube.

T234 just hacked my PSP (thanks guy!) and now I'm ready to do cool shit with it. What I want mainly, right now, is a lot of NES, SNES, and Genesis games, as well as a couple of PSX games like Einhander. I shall be watching this thread like a hawk.

I just downloaded an NES emulator, nesterj, and when I opened it I found an EBOOT file... is that all I need to copy to the memory stick, and which folder do I put the emulators in?

Good, that's what I need. I already found some good emulators that are already operational on my PSP.

I can't seem to get MAME roms to work, I tried putting them in both the MAME folder and the MAME/ROMS folder, and nada.

I use

SNES - SNES9x
Gen - DGEN
GB - RIN
NES - NesterJ

few questions though

First off, I'm hearing that Picodrive is better and runs Sega CD games? What's the latest version of that? link plz. I've found 1.35b

Secondly, NesterJ keeps erasing all of the ROMs stored in the unit, what the fuck is the deal with that? Is there a newer version than 1.2? wait- it's not erasing them,  but it won't display them. When I boot it I get red text saying 'load config FAILED. set default..."

Lastly, this Yoshihiro guy has an SMS/GG emu, is there a newer edition than the 0.5 that floods google but came out in 2005?

How do I set up images for the XMB so they don't all just say PlayStation under Games?

Oh I see now... I gotta redo these eboots... does anyone know a site that has a bunch of pre-made backgrounds and icons for PS1 games?

Here's one: http://popsdb.twystneko.com/index.php

OK, wtf is this

re: updating from 3.52 M33-4 to 3.71, from the readme:

Quote
- Copy the UPDATE directory into /PSP/GAME/UPDATE and copy the EBOOT.PBP of the 3.71 Sony updater

there but with name "371.PBP"
. Note: the program will not even show if you copy it to a different folder than that.

What? Am I supposed to have two PBPs in there, one named EBOOT and one named 371? Or does he want me to rename his original EBOOT to 371? Because when I do that, the file shows as corrupted in the XMB. The file looks fine and executable when I leave it as EBOOT. So should I just execute it that way or is there a second file I have to find on my own?

I am, I posted it above (edit: guess that was another thread). But for this portion he just c/ps the readme.

So I used this http://youtube.com/watch?v=-gYs2pdW6Qc

and it seems I need the 3.71 update from Sony's site, which is obviously no longer available. Anyone have that pbp lying around?

edit2: found it. f u DA

edit3: This 22MB download is going to take an hour, psphacks sucks my dick
