You would too if:
In 1901, twenty-one year old college student Helen Keller, with the aid of a fantastical device invented by her friend and mentor Alexander Graham Bell, regains her sight and hearing as well as near super-human strength and agility. Helen is enlisted by the Secret Service to protect President William McKinley, who has been targeted for assassination by anarchists. She is...HELEN KILLER.

seriously i laid out this huge past history about how the american clan was shot off from the british clan and it was their machinations made public which was the cause of the civil war.
it had stuff like george washington vs general howe with washington killing him (the real reason he was replaced in the middle of the campaign)
then the civil was was northern clan vs southern clan
then the final was was world war 2 where all the clans vs hitler and the japanese, but pressures within the gov't to end the alliance of the american clans with the us gov't resulted in the killing of the ninjas who were battling their japanese counterparts at nagasaki and hiroshima
-
elevator pitch: "It's like The DaVinci code...with ninjas!!"
-
hmmm
thinking about it
three four issue series done in a year
it would be awesome
-
you should call it...
Ninjitsuminati
that title is yours for 1.5 points of the gross up front
-
the one thing I really liked about Rowling's wizardry universe that she never went into, was the implication that the wizards were secretly behind most of the major "real world" wars that we saw--that bit about the Voldemort equivalent during WWII kept coming up and would make a good expanded universe prequel, and I think there was a bit about the Crusades as well.

NINJAMERICA

WAY OF THE CIVIL WARRIOR

and the civil war would have chinese railroad working monks kicking ass
-
oh god how did our awesome comic turn into Shanghai Noon in just three posts
we really need to work out the details first
-
ok so we drop the chinese, they're overplayed anyway
not like our pantaloon wearing ninja forefathers
i say we cast sammo hung as ben franklin for the inevitable movie
