Carnival time bitches! It's 9:30 and I've got a good buzz kicking. So does my entire town.  :hyper :hyper

i've been to mardi gras twice in highschool

it was kind of nuts but not really my thing

I guess it's different if you grow up in it. My fave tinme of year.  :D

I don't get a kick out of New Orleans as much as when I was younger, but here in Lafayette, it's a lot more low key, just walk around and drink and talk and yell. A lot more families here.

I think the world would be better with more drinking holidays.

yeah, when i was living in texas i have grandparents in corpus and grandparents in rio hondo (close the harlingen) so i had access to all of it.

i never understood why folks go to galveston actin like it's a beach! It has good food but the "beach" sux!

Seattle does Mardi Gras. I'm not really sure why, though.

We even had some underage guy killed during the celebration downtown six or seven years ago.
