I used to buy Chinese food at a place in North Hollywood/Toluca Lake called Star Wok (near City Walk), where they charged me almost $5 for four pieces of siew mai!

btw, I'm in one of the most asian areas of the US.  Wonder what will happen.

Chinatowns all over the world have local celebrations.  NYC has one, but I won't be able go due to work.
