Title: Don't Look Now
Post by: Phoenix Dark on October 29, 2006, 01:54:51 AM
Finally, I found out the name of the movie. I had to watch more than a third of the 100 Scariest Moments in Movies (on Bravo), and it was number 22. I remember watching this show a long time ago and seeing this movie on it, but I could never remember the name.

Has anyone heard of this? A rather young Donald Sutherland is in it lol. Looks very good to me, although the ending is spoiled by the list.

I love this film. Julie Christie gets her kit off in it and there are definitely shades of Hitchcock in terms of suspense, pacing and tone. Not my favourite of Roeg's films, but certainly worth a watch, and if you like it, be sure to check out "The Man Who Fell to Earth" and "Walkabout".

I do the charitable thing and reply to a lonely thread, and this is the thanks I get? You're on your own next time, pal.

:(

I was barely on the computer yesterday so I couldn't post.

I'm definitely going to find this movie. Hopefully Hollywood Video has it
