Title: damn you steam

I bought CoD4 at midnight with the hopes of waking up to find it downloaded and ready

but it apparently kept stalling out.  i woke up to find it at 88%.  i rebooted my machine and restarted my router and still by the time i went for my run, it was at 96%.  I returned hoping to kill some brown people only to discover that it was STILL at 96%

I really want to play CoD4's single player mode

I also really want to pay less than $10 / hour to do so

I like to think of CoD4's singleplayer mode as more of an interactive movie than a FPS. It's very cinematic and very short, but hey 6 hours is a pretty good length for a movie. Just make sure you play it on a low difficulty level, because when you start dying over and over, it kinda kills the illusion.

I think they focused more on the multiplayer this time and just tacked on a single player for giggles

mp is fun but it's way out of my league, esp with the unlocks these people have
