Title: Can your employer check your medical info if they sponsor your insurance?

I work for a small company, been with them for 3 months.  What I wonder is, does my boss have the ability to see what my doctor appointments and scripts are all about?  I take xanax, a good deal.  i don't want my boss who is also my coworker knowing this...


Any info would be appreciated.

I seriously doubt they can check you medical records.  Medical confidentiality laws b/w employers and employees.  I'm sure it's illegal, too.
