I played the last one to death, and this one feels the same as that one. Bored of it in record time. :-\

played it online?
unlocked the music?
PLAYED AS SOLID SNAKE!!!?? :NINGASMALLOVERMYLITTLEBALLS
totally what I expected. will pick it up cheap. I need some solid game to justify wii as a party machine besides wii sports and that other waggle crap I have (I think wii play). just plug in some lamepube controllers on this and use the same couple characters I've been using for 10 years whenever my friends and I want to play a fighting game nobody knows how to kick that much ass in. smash bros. games are about as fun as these (http://www.brokenoff.com/silver.html) to me. I love them but I can see why people would say it's more like LBP than a fighting game.

I actually tried this today. I was not impressed at all gameplay wise, it felt like the previous games; but the presentation is ace; I can understand why nintendo fanboys are so into it.

Oh how clever

Did you import and/or have a modded Wii?

Play the Subspace Emmisary (or whatever the hell it's called) mode. It's some great fucking platform action...finished it the other day with 82% complete and 9:15 on the clock. NINE HOURS of platform action. :bow The final boss is wonderfully old school as well. Great game.
Go play the game online and unlock the new shit n' QUIT YER BITCHIN' :)

I smashed my TV remote when I died in the 100 man melee with 2 more guys to kill :-\

I've been using the controller attachment, which sucks. I've gotta go get some batteries for my wavebird.

Oh how clever
By the way, this isn't gaf, so you don't have to make comments at other people's opinions on games.

I'm pretty much playing straight-up Wavebird when I get the US release... though I'm curious to see how CC works in this.
-
Am I missing a lot in trying to play with the wiimote? Would I get more enjoyment with a GC controller or Wiimote + nunchuk? It's like two buttons to attack, which seems wrong somehow.
Holy shit, you've been using the Wiimote by itself to play this!? :o It's gimped that way...playable? Sure, but you pretty much need to use a classic controller or Gamecube controller to play this game.

I've just been using the classic controller...it works great. A friend here is a Smash Bros. Melee "veteran" and he took to the CC pretty quickly. Didn't even care about using a GC controller.
-
I messed with all control methods. The wiimote is surprisingly nice and the nunchuck combo could easily be a respectable method if you took the time. I'm lazy and went with GC.

Lol, it's no big deal, but if you're saying the bore doesn't do the same thing, you're kidding yourself.

I recently played this over at a friends and I'm certainly a believer now. I can't believe have much I enjoyed playing it,I even unlocked Snake(I had him at 220% and he still gave me trouble) and Ness while I was over there!
Yoshi still sucks.
-
I've thought about this one. I really never did get into the previous games, but this new installment seems to offer so many cool features (plus an awesome single player mode) that I'm tempted to check it out.
