Title: Char's Gundam!

Okay, so I went ahead and bought that Char's Gundam "Fix Figuration Metal Composite Limited Edition."

Akihabara.  About 6,000 yen.  He is mostly metal, and kind of heavy.  He comes with a core block that goes inside his chest and transforms into a core fighter, five different pairs of hands, bazooka, beam rifle, two beam sabers (and six beam saber handles), extra v-antenna, shield...he rocks.  ROCKS.

I didn't know Char had a Gundam.  :-[

You gotta love Japanese toys.  I don't give a shit about Haruhi, but I want this toy now because of this picture.

Here's some stuff I happened upon recently. 

This Sakura clock was 100 yen in mint condition at a recycle shop.

Kaiyodo Cammy figure.  I wanted this before but it was always sold out; spotted this one at  a shop and grabbed it.

Tsukasa Bullet Mizuki figure.  I love this guy's art and the figure looks pretty close to it.  There's two in this set and I'm probably going to get the other one...it's only 2500 yen since everyone wants this figure instead, being more nubile and all.

Char only has a Gundam in one of the side-paths of a Gundam strategy RPG called Gihren's Greed.  It's a popular unit (it's actually a re-colored RX-78-2) so it's been made into figure/model form a few times.
