Title: do the snes megamen x work well on a psp (slim)?
Post by: ananus on February 19, 2008, 12:51:02 PM
i recall reading that snes emulation on psp was kind of crappy and x2/x3 were some of the last snes games to be emulated perfectly, so i was wondering if anyone knew. tia

Maverick Hunter X is an awesome remake of the best installment--the first Mega Man X. Why play the crappy SNES sequels. X4 was good, though.

I owned it for SNES originally. It was decent, but a huge disappointment for me. The music went downhill and the level designs weren't as cool as X1.
Also Hadoken>Shoryuken.

+1 Maverick Hunter X. Great game. Really like the music remixes too, which is saying a lot - I generally hold the opinion that it's hard to top the originals on those classic OSTs.

i tried megaman x2 and there was too much slowdown for it to be playable. you could play it, but it's just way too slow if you're used to the original. x3 must be the same.
as for maverick hunter x, it was alright but i beat it the other day and wanted to replay x2 or x3 now.
