I will get this day one if:
-Its released at the right time
-Enough people here get it
-Co-Op is good
-Comes with a sweet ass pre-order bonus
-
If you play this and not Ninja Gaiden I think I'm going to have an aneurysm.
-
Yeah I thought it looked pretty good, I'm definitely picking it up when it hits.
I gotta laugh at that table discussion put on by SK though. Seemed pretty cheesy and overly rehearsed. It was like a bad training video that HR would make you watch.

Dyack was on X-Play tonight talking about Too Human. The footage looks better than the abomination they showed on G4's E3 Live show a couple years back, but something about it still looks "off" to me.
-
jank city. once again, there's no visual feedback on the hits (i.e. hit stuns) in a western game, and where're the contact animations in general? ALSO PLZ LEAVE THE PSONE-ERA WEAPON TRAILS AT HOME, DENIS
-
The character just "zoomed" around the screen, "zooming" right to each enemy, and killing them instantly. It didn't look like you have a whole lot of control over him. :-\
-
i swear we've had this discussion before about too human
-
Denis hears ya. Denis doesn't care. The Dyack does whatever the Dyack wants.
-
The game has been in development for so long but its interface for skills and items seemed REALLY primitive.
Also, the animations seemed really jerky.
-
Two years back, Too Human was the most embarassing piece of software ever on display at E3. I literally laughed at the team hovering over me as I played it and thought the demo was disgusting. It had to be humiliating for Silicon Knights. It was such a piece of shit that I'm pretty sure no good could come of it. Even if they managed to make it ten thousand times better than that demonstration, it'd still be pretty awful.

And that's what the combat has looked like for the past year, too. That zooming shit would get boring after 5 minutes, but it's the only substantial type of combat they've shown. The menu screens and the like also look pretty embarrassing.

I realize that Microsoft has probably invested a ton of money into Too Human, but it still infuriates me that they dropped Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, but are sticking with this piece of crap.

I suspect that Dyack must be killer at pitching. He got Nintendo of all people to invest in his previous games, and I'd suspect it is much easier to pitch to MS.
-
sounds like kingdom under fire: western version to me.
-
If I was a casual gamer, I'd buy a Too Human before an Oddworld whatever.
Did you play Stranger's Wrath? It was awesome. Thank Jeebus that Electronic Arts, of all companies, saw it's potential and rescued it.
-
Are the new gameplay vids funny enough to be worth clicking?
-
Well I guess the IGN video is funny if you like to see a bunch of creepily rehearsed guys sitting around a gigantic table.
I actually like the way the game looks though.
-
Yeah, this actually looks good WTF
