I don't watch Bones anymore but I was wondering why she would always say that. Is she supposed to be mentally disabled in some way? Or can't pick up on common sayings gestures?

BONES!

No she is just so into her work she doesnt know much about popculture. Its made fun of in later eps where Booth mentions obscure movies and she knows them, but later in the episode doesnt recognize even something her Museum boss does.

Her delivery of the line is always dead on. The show rox wooo. Im still watching Season 1 but im gonna buy season 2 on itunes after that. I hear Season 2 is even better.
