Holy shit MUST BUY

Isn't it on Wii too? Not that I care since I'll pick up the both PSP and PS2 Versions.
-
BLECH WII
PS2 AND PSP
SONY :bow

SAM SHO AND KOF98 OMG
-
I hope it's $15 like KOFXI
-
The good: Two new collections! The KOF one having '98 makes it better than the Japanese Orochi version.
The bad: If these are being made in the U.S., something could get messed up. SS Collection is also still missing Samurai Shodown V Special, which makes no sense whatsoever. However, Tenka destroys all the previous SS games anyway, so it really doesn't matter.
The AWESOME: HOLY SHIT SS TENKA ON *PSP*!!!! :o :o :o :o :o
The WTF: Japan is getting KOF '98 Ultimate Match very soon in arcades and after on PS2. This is what should be in the KOF Collection, not just the vanilla '98.
-
I'll definitely get KOF Collection on the PSP. '98 is kind of laggy on MVSPSP.
-
how playable are fighting games on the PSP?

They're fine if you have a Slim, but they're practically unplayable on the older PSP's because of the horrendous d-pad.

Which version of MVSPSP are you using? Also are you caching the files for that game?
-
I am using 2.3.1. I don't understand what you mean by caching? Is it the .exe program you use to make the cache files from the rom zip? ??? If so, I already did that. :-\
-
Yeah, that's caching.
Also, are you using a slim or fat PSP? The slims make the games run smoother; the MVS and CPS emulators take advantage of the extra memory.
Finally, 2.3.1? That's old! I find 2.4 works the best for Neo-Geo, 2.5 for CPS1 and CPS2. MVSPSP 2.5 didn't play some of the ROMs I had that worked on every other version for whatever reason.

I am using a Slim. I didn't know they were old. :-[ You know where I can download 2.4 and 2.5? Thanks. :D
-
Wish there was online. The 2d fighting community has pretty much dried up in my area. Still, it will be worth it just to get my hands on Tenka finally.
-
Enl, that's why I'm looking more forward to the XBLA Samurai II than the collection.

Try QJ.net's download section. If you can't find them there, I'll post the link directly to NJ's site when I get home...I don't think I can look up the URL at work. Remember that you don't have to catch a lot of games, either. Just some of the bigger or newer titles. And with the recent Capcom CPS2 emulator, you don't have to cache ANY games (unless you want them to load up a bit quicker).
-
They're not up on QJ.net. The latest they've got is 2.3 for both emulators. :'(

That's weird. Try searching the forums too.
But NJ's page has direct download links. http://nj-emu.tfact.jp/
I don't see 2.4 on there anymore though, just 2.5 and older 2.3 versions. I'm pretty sure either QJ.net or Maxconsole's forums should have 2.4 for download. You could always give 2.5 a try first and see how it fares for you.

omg thank you lyte edge. :bow

If this pic is any indication, the SamSho Anthology will have SSV Special...
