Pretty fun game once you get used to the floaty physics... how good is the Cactuar level???

Still don't know if it's worth 800 points especially since a Flash version exists.

I want to strangle the prick that designed level 14-4.  Most frustrating two hours I've spent playing a game in a long time...I was about to give up hope but was finally able to beat it at the end.  Bullshit of a level.

So this it probably my favorite XBLA game....I know I keep saying that about every other month now but this is true - N+ is the best game on the thing.  Just a ton of levels, a level editor, co-op, replays, and what looks like some sort of share type service where you can download stuff other people created. I can't believe how much more I enjoy N with a controller instead of a freakin' keyboard.  That right there makes all the difference in the world to me.  Great game.  Definitely worth the 800pts.

N+ gets so unbelievably hard that I'm convinced that some of those later levels can't be beat without co-op.  To execute some of those jumps you have to be some sort of videogame rendition of Rainman.  Sadistic.

The levels in the demo are all incredibly easy so I could understand why someone would have some trepidation over getting it, but there's a TON of content in the game and it really starts kicking into gear somewhere around 14th episode.  This is right up with REZ, SOTN, and Catan as the best 800pts I've ever spent on XBLA.  Fun stuff.

Yeah, 14-4 is the first level where the game really starts getting serious.  It's all just a relative cake walk up to that point.

That's true, I think Eets did as well for getting to a certain point. PGR4 also gives you one if you pay 1 million Kudos for it. I'm pretty sure I've got some from Lumines and PacMan too.

I just thought Amped 3 was crazy, I got 9(?) pics just for finishing the game, and they're the same ones you could buy on the marketplace for 20points each.

They're co op too. They are probably easier (even without using a guy as a shield), so I can see why you don't get the Achievement. But still.

this game rules! Love the soundtrack....

Completed about 5 episodes last night, already whored the perfectionist and treasure hunter achievments on the 1st episode :-* Easy 40Gs

I'll be down for some co-op or vs! You guys are probably way better than me already, but I'll get there

And the 'Secret' achievement isnt very secret.... you can view what you have to do for it in the XBLA menu under 'View Achievements'

We're at pretty much the exact same point! I beat 24-4 last night. Took me a little while to figure out I needed to wall-jump to get the door switch. So awesome.

Just keep running back and forth until you get an opening to hit those switches. You can evade the missiles by wall-jumping over them. It just takes practice and a feel for how the missiles move. You need to get into some sort of rhythm.

This is similar to what I did, except I ran back and forth across the whole level instead of wall-jumping up through the interior.

Exactly!  Even if you finish all the stages, which I don't even know if that's possible, you can still go back, do co-op, make your own levels, beat previous high score times, etc.  Good thing the flash game is free and has a boss mode to boot.  Alt-tabbing FTMFW

My friend and I got up to the last stage of the last episode of co op, it took like 45 minutes of play, then he got disced and we have to do it all over. It's fucking bullshit.

DO NOT do online co op, do it one-box. When he comes over tomorrow we will finish that fucker.

14-4 can fuck right off. I know how to beat it but I just cant string it together or get a shitty landing on a jump. It's gotten to a point where I no longer care about playing the game any more it's frustrated me so much.

Keep in mind that you can press start, go to Leaderboards, press X to go to Overall, and then hit Y on any of the top scores and you can watch a replay in-game.

I beat another episode yesterday, but it turns out I was only at 38 beaten. So I still have to beat one more for the 40 ep achievement.

I can't see myself ever getting all 50. I could definitely beat more if every cluster of 5 wasn't bottlenecked by the game's design.

basically its another one of those rocket launcher guantlets where you have to hit switches to acces the exit swich, and hit more switches so you can reach the door. Its just designed in a way where the rockets have an easier time of following you around corners, and as soon as youre safe from one, another will be flying your way. A really tough satge
