Whenever we visited her in Spain, me and my brother had to sleep in that spare bedroom. It gave me a lot of nightmares as a little kid.

This one is called Pleasure. We see a woman wearing lace (and thus, we assume, rich and sheltered), voraciously biting into a bird, with prudent amounts of blood and what not. My take is that this spoiled person (presumably a child), grown in a pampered environment, has been given everything she can possibly desire, making it so the things that she now desires are weird and unattainable. In short, Magritte is basically telling us how fetishes were formed. And this is from like 90 years ago. Magritte was fuckin' brilliant.
