I have a large collection of wallpapers. There aren't that many commercial ones inbetween, though I do got quite some movie wp's, the majority of it is based on certain emotions it can bring up etc. So if you can describe something you want, go ahead.
you know what I'm just gonna name a few genres of folders I have and if you have any other idea, just let me know.
- Still Life/Classic/ Black & White
- Dark
- Scenery
- Nature/Sky
- Urban (skylines, roads, streets)
- Surreal (apocalyptic stuff, planets, meteors etc)
- Videogames
- Simple / Stylistic
- and Misc. stuff

Unfortunately, I don't have my wallpapers sorted out by resolution. But if you happen to know a way to sort files in folders by resolution, let me know. Meanwhile I will check out what I have. But any specific requests? I bet I have a lot in that res from each genre.
About paintings, I have a couple of high resolution paintings, but its not in wallpaper format. Here's a screencap of that folder:

In the Scenery folder I have tons of shit that resemble these type of visuals, and yeah there are a couple of paintings too like The Tower of Babel. And I bet there are more famous ones I never recognised.

Do an image search with google. Type in 1920 1200. I leave out the x as it seems to get me more results. Filter to see extra large images only and you'll get a bunch of stuff.
