Title: I gave Ender's Game 4 out of 5 stars on Facebook's bookshelf app thingy

I don't necessarily disagree with the arguments inveighed against it here and elsewhere, and Card's politics are infuriating, but the fact remains I still like this shit.  Sorry everyone.  Please forgive me, I can't stop loving you.

no i totally understand

though it's amazing that a 12 year old boy was able to land a job as a (insert whatever tech job you do).  you must be like doogie houser.

edit: i looked to see if there's anything embarrassing i added in that facebook app and i don't think there is.

I rated HP Lovecraft tales as a 3 star, but that was more for that specific edition (there are other better ones out there)

Oh, I gave The Essential Dazzler 5 stars.  Your Opinion: God, I am so gay. 70's disco diva mutant comic books

it's time to start reading books in german, contemplating suicide, and wishing for a more neopagan existence while at the same time enjoying the cushy lifestyle your current job provides.

tell me are you having trouble with women?  do you feel smarter than those around you?  you may be prepared for the nihilistic fantasies contained in patricia highsmith novels.

I did consider Highsmith for that reason, but I think I'll stick with Kafka for the time being

also "cushy lifestyle my current job provides" =  :lol :lol :lol :lol :(

So can you recommend age-appropriate nihilistic fantasies for every stage of life?  What should I read when I'm 45?  I'm pretty sure I won't ever stop having trouble with women or feeling smarter than those around me, so you can take those as constant.
