The downloadable 2D remake looks like a dream.
After playing Lost Planet again this weekend, the grappling play has me wanting the 3D remake.
When do we get the downloadable game anyway?
I need this now!

N+!

Get your 360 out of the closet and play the version of Lost Planet that doesn't completely suck.

I've been playing Lost Planet on my PS3 all day long today, and I'm still not seeing these framerate issues in both single-player and multi-player modes.
Honest to God, I just don't see it. You know that while I like my PS3, I have no problem stating it's faults.
I believe Lyte, I just aint seeing it with my copy.

I believe that you both are telling the truth. People just have different sensitivites with regards to framerates.
Ignoring framerate, how does the game look? From the screenshots, a lot of visual effects seem to be missing or have been downgraded in the PS3 version.

its ben so long since i played the X360 edition but it looks the same to be with the motion blur on enemies etc...

I checked out Lost Planet on my cousin's 360 last night. The explosions on the PS3 version are different, but the motion blur is the same.

What different about the explosions? I cant remember enough about the X360 edition...

I've been playing the ps3 version ( 2 missions last night) never played on 360.
I notice some frame rate dips here and there when things get crazy, but theres been nothing game breaking so far in the least.
If i had to make a comparison it'd be to Tales of Symphonia ps2, a competent but negligibly (to someone who doesnt have it already and just wants to play the game) technically inferior port with extras.
BTW the worm in stage 3 scared the piss out of me.
