Title: eastern promises

Anyway, I watched this film lastnigt. I knew nothing about it - my girlfriend randomly got it from netflix.

I thought theovie was outstanding 75% of the way thru. Its not often that I see a well done Russian mafia movie.

The gore is well done save a few instances of fake looking blood. The bath house knife fight is memorable.

So what happened to the end of this movie? It was so good untill the

Such a shame for this movie to take such nosedive at the end. It was very charming otherwise.

Post by: abrader on March 04, 2008, 11:34:34 AM: its definately worth a watch. I think anyone with taste will be disappointed by the "bail out" ending on a movie with such premise and initial quality.

I even went into it weary as my girlfriend rents chic flix 80
% of the time.

The ending is like watching your booty call rush out of your house 15 minutes after sex - disapponting for sure.
