So, here's what happened.
I was originally supposed to go to this club to see a DJ I'm a big fan of with a couple of friends who are also big fans. Buy my ticket beforehand and everything.
The show was 18+ at the Loft, so no problem. I mean, I went out and bought a new outfit and everything for this night. (It's on Nov. 10th, btw)
Anyway, yesterday I hear that they moved the venue for some unknown reason, to Foundation, which is a strictly 21+ bar. So I call, all pissed off. "I already paid, why did you guys move it, this sucks, fuck you" was the extent of the conversation.
My friends are all over 21 except for one, and she said she doesn't care anymore, and she's not going. But I REALLY and I mean REALLY was looking forward to this. I am insanely pissed off that they changed the age limit on the show.
So now I'm thinking, can I get in some other way? I've never tried to get into a 21+ club before so I'm not too informed about how strict they are about checking IDs and stuff. 18+ they don't seem to care very much at all. I'm assuming 21+ the bouncers are more thorough about carding.
I don't know where to get a fake ID and I don't have any friends over 21 who look enough like me and would be willing to lend me their ID. Is there any other way to get in or am I totally fucked? :-\ Help is appreciated.
EDIT: I need to take a shower and do laundry so it'll be a while before I can reply.

If you are with a big group of people already over 21, just say you forgot your ID at home, and you didn't drive. The bouncers should let you in...

A friend suggested I lay on the thick french canadian accent and pretend I don't speak much English, said it worked for a friend of hers once, they explained that she didn't have any ID since she wasn't from the US and they just let her in since she looked old enough.
But that seems a gamble -- this place is over an hour from my house and if I get booted out I am stuck out in the cold without a ride :lol
Chris -- this club is strictly 21+ since it has an open bar in the dancefloor area, is what I was told anyway. And when I called them they confirmed this.
Now I am really getting in the shower.

My friends have since 15 but one of them is the cousin of the bouncer. But yeah you'd have to be pretty fobby-looking anyways.

That was my thought too. I look over 21. I am just terrified of being stuck without a ride if they don't let me in...

Just make sure your the bouncers type if not slip a 10 or something. But yeah girls usually dont have problems getting in underage. And you should be able to get a refund on the ticket for your friend if not sell the ticket.

I've never had to bribe my way into a club before since I only go to 18+ so I'm not sure what works and what doesn't.

Well you can offer a bribe, he's not a law enforcement officer so it isn't against the law, however I dont think real life is much like the movies.
You could work the honesty angle that you really just want to see the DJ and hear the music and just act innocent, either way its a gamble.

Okay, maybe the odds are in my favour, but I still don't want to be stuck in downtown Minneapolis at 10 PM with nowhere else to go since I'll be riding with friends who WILL be able to get in for sure. If I can line up some sort of backup ride it's worth a shot I guess =/ I could always just call a taxi too I suppose.

If you're with a group of people who all have ID and don't go in first, you should be fine. Turn up when it's likely to be busiest too, I guess.
If they stamp your hand so you can get out and get back in and you have a friend go in, then come out and rub the stamp on your hand I guess that would work too. It's worked for me in the past when I've been without either IDs or tickets.

I don't think you'll need $50. $20 should be fine, if you need to juice the bouncer at all. If you're a good liar you'll get in no problem.

Usually when I'd go to a bar or club where someone forgot their ID or whatever we'd just kinda create something of a clusterfuck when the bouncers were checking IDs, then the person w/o one would just try to walk in and play it off like they already showed theirs.
