Title: So Saw IV

Just saw this HA lastnight.

It was worse than III IMO.

With the music and the scene transitions its really reminding me of survivor SAW island gameshow.

Yes some of the scenes make you wiggle with discomfort...but the movie was such shit otherwise.

I guess SAW V is on the way?

AWFUL.

Can anyone defend this?

I like how the Saw movies are getting, despite their huge international success, lower and lower profile casts.

Saw IV stars Costas Mandlayor, right?  That guy couldn't open an envelope.  They're stepping DOWN from Donnie Whalburg fer crying out loud.

I was decent and entertaining

II is slightly worse and cheeky by the end

III is  ::)

IV is "I dont think I care to see V"

I'll agree with this assessment.  Note that they are guilty pleasures, of course.

Saw II seems to get a lot of hate from the, er, "fans".  I thought it was about as good a sequel as can be expected, what with the rule of diminishing returns in sequels.  They mixed up the formula while still providing the crack-like twists.
