Been watching videos about it for a few minuets now and it looks pretty fun. I'm sure its just as bad as crossfire but I don't really care.

Japanese title is Operation Troy and Bandai Namco claims it's coming out this summer.
From a recent interview with a Bandai Namco rep:
- Finally, regarding Operation Troy's continued delays, he apologizes and notes at the beginning of every year, they keep saying it'll be done in the Summer and jokes that coming into its 3rd year, they may as well say once again it'll be done by Summer. He then reveals, rest assured, they've currently already begun debugging the game.

I'm stunned it's still in development, but I'll definitely pick it up if it comes out in North America.
This game is going to be awful. A Gundam game designed for the mainstream American gamer? That's a gaming oxymoron if there ever was one.
Japanese developed Battlefield style FPS :lol :lol :lol :( :( :( :o :o :o :( :( :(
I'll glady eat crow if I'm wrong.
-
It's by a completely different development team than Crossfire. That's at least slightly reassuring.
-
I thought it was Dimps alone. I was under the impression that they were both being developed at the same time by separate teams and were supposed to launch near-simultaneously.
-
Crossfire is good tho ;)

what's Never Ending Tomorrow like? And also, is SD Gundam Force Showdown any good?
BTW, do you have Encounters in Space? That one's really good, I recommend it if you don't have it already (don't see it in that pic).
-
no way - but IGA is great!

I dont have encounters in space.
Gundam SEED NET is like a wacky space harrier esque view...
Showdown is like an odd isometric view zelda game of sorts.
-
Showdown actually sounds kinda interesting. Is it fun?
I'm thinking Encounters in Space and Never Ending Tomorrow probably play similarly, from how you describe it.

I have only put in about 2 hours - back when it released!
I really cant remember.

I'm really hyped about Mobile OPS; I've been lusting for a good mecha game since chromehounds, and Mobile OPS could be the one.
-
I can only take pics of the stuff I have in Japan...I can do it when I get home today, if I can get my wireless connection to work again.
-
Have they ever made a God Gundam game? I loved that series.
Yeah, there are some G Gundam fighting titles for the SNES and PS1.

That's a pretty awesome game. It has almost 30 characters, including all the main dudes from G Gundam and Gundam Wing Endless Waltz.

Some of my PSP/PS2 stuff. Don't have the energy to look through my Saturn, DC, PS1, SFC, or Sakura Taisen stuff tonight, but if people actually wanna see it, I'll post it tomorrow.

I'll take some pictures when I get home from work this evening.

That's most of the PS2 stuff...still missing all the Sakura Taisen games, tho, and a few other things, plus all of the SFC Gundam stuff I've been picking up recently, my Saturn games (Blue Destiny trilogy :rock), Dreamcast stuff, PS1 stuff, etc., etc., etc.

Here are all my Gundam and Gundam-related games:

i would love a gundam tactics game for psp in english

The Gundam Battle series are actually action games where you level up your pilot and go through missions, gaining new mobile suits as you go along.
The SD G Generations game is a strategy RPG.
There are no RTS-type Gundam games on PSP unfortunately. Though Emblem of Gundam for DS may have elements of that.
-
distant, what're the contents of the Gundam Version 2.0 PSX box?
-
A manual/art book, some post cards, a Cardass card, the game, and the big box. Kind of a rip off, but luckily I only paid $10 for it.
The SRW Alpha 2 (four Original Generation mecha figures), ACE1 (artbook and postcards) and the Lost Wars Chronicles (hard slipcover, artbook, and a t-shirt) LE/boxes are much cooler.
-
They had it at 500 yen at Book Off, thank goodness I didn't buy it. Why is it called version 2.0? Did they actually change anything? There's also a version 1.5 of Journey to Jaburo for PS2, but I dunno wtf that changes.
-
I think it's a modified version of the first MSG on the PSX. The box is actually really cool looking, though.
I've always wondered what's new in Journey to Jaburo 1.5, but I've never been able to find out.
-
Do you own any of the Saturn Gundam games?

Do you own any of the Saturn Gundam games?
Nope, I've played one of the Zeta side scrollers, though.
-
The Blue Destiny games are really good, even if they are ugly as sin.

Take from Gunota:
GameSpot Japan has its own coverage of Operation Troy with some different screenshots. While much of the content is the same as in the recent Famitsu.com article, they include an introduction to some of the MS useable in multiplay and the armament for player classes (each shares a knife & pistol): Assault (assault rifle, grenade launcher, hand grenades), Sniper (sniper rifle, grenade launcher, hand grenades), and Anti-Tank/MS (rocket launcher, shotgun, smoke grenades, landmines).
Other details: The single play mode is referred to as a tutorial with 5 missions each for the Earth Fed and Zeon sides and standard levels of difficulty (Easy, Normal, Hard). A pair of screenshots show the ability to destroy an MS's main camera and it's mentioned MS are easier to damage from the rear than from the front side. Conquest Mode is said to have 5 capture points rather than 3. As well as the MS themselves, the MS weapons in multiplayer mode can be chosen before play begins. Apparently, only the RGM-79 and MS-06J are available to begin with and other MS, weapons, and color variations are gradually enabled as you play through multiplayer.
Edit: There's also the link to their gallery, which includes pics not shown in the main article. Another one is up at Online Player EX.
