Title: This game will never get GOTY 2008.

MLB The Show 08 is quite possibly one of the best sports titles ever made. It provides a simulation environment that is as deep as you want to be, and offers tons of meaningful in-depth extras. I heard someone at GAF was bitching custom soundtrack didnt play during the entire ballgame, and to that I say BUY A STEREO YOU TWAT.

This will never be GOTY 08, and possibly not even Sports Game of the Year. Why?

1.) Brand Loyalty. Lets suck some EA Sports cack and get a Pizza Hut Pizza with a 2 Liter of Pepsi brand Cola and/or Red Bull Energy Drink.
2.) Football currently far more popular than Baseball. I guess sports fans dont like STRIKES every four or so years.
3.) I CANT PLAY MUH SOUNDTRACK OVER STADIUM SPEAKERS ALL GAME. OH NOES SEZ GAF distinguished mentally-challenged fellow SQUAD IN THEIR ONE PIECE WACKY JAPPY PAJAMAS!
4.) Shines on PS3. Pirated on PSP. Lost in a Sea of Sports on PS2.

If you like sports AT ALL, and dont own MLB The Show 08 for PS3, PS2, or PSP, you are a fucking moron.

07 was fantastic from a gameplay perspective, 08 tweaks the gameplay and the road to the show mode and makes it all look awesome. I do find it hilarious that during the games massive facelift they still managed to leaave the flags at stadiums ugly like in 07. Hope thats a big F U to 07 haters.

I have too much to play. I can't buy this now. :( Plus the PS2 graphics. :( Also, I only have one PS2 controller. :(

Its gameplay is dead on. And honestly, you wouldnt be doing too bad getting 07 for PS2.

I have Burnout on 360, I only had 5 ps3 games at one point, all were traded in save for MLB The Show 07 because its the best exclusive the PS3 has. I have a crapload of blurays tho, that counts for most sony fans lol
