 :lol

If done completely over-the-top, like one of the Grindhouse trailers, a remake would be amazing.

They actually are remaking The Last House on the Left.  They just cast the parents this week, actually.

Well, Last House on the Left is basically an updated version of Ingmar Bergman's The Virgin Spring, so I'd say the time is already upon us.

Of those I have only seen Persona and Through a Glass Darkly, but both of them are must sees.  I'm fairly confident that I can sit through just about any Bergman movie and find something to like.  For the most part, I have only seen his "big" movies, and the contents of the Early Bergman set.  Now that I dig classical music, I'd like to check out The Magic Flute, though.

Even SCORSESE did a remake.

Only on EvilBore will a thread about a remake of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes get derailed into a discussion about Ingmar Bergman.

I still need to watch the full cut of Fanny and Alexander.  It's so long and you have to be in the right mood.

As long as John Astin is still Professor Gangreen I'd be down with it. I wonder if they're going to hip-a-fy the theme song to suit today's youth.
