The winner of each District will go Regional Semi-Finals, where the top eight players from each region will be flown to San Jose for the Finals. The winner of that gets an extravagant trophy, a plasma television, a Nintendo Wii, a library of Wii games and $5,000.

they should just give 5,000 dollars and a lifetime supply of sugary kids cereal, more appropriate.

Post by: The Fake Shemp on March 13, 2008, 05:51:21 PM: Since the Finals is at a GameStop, the winner should just trade-in the Nintendo Wii and all the free Wii games for a MICROSOFT XBOX 360 ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM. Then use the $5,000 to buy a decent sound system and some real games, like LOST ODYSSEY and CALL OF DUTY 4!

I would enter this tourney just to do this. It be awesome in front of Nintendo reps/cameras (?) to respond to their question of "You just won the tournament and all this stuff...what are you going to do now?" with "I'm going to trade in all this Nintendo shit towards a REAL CONSOLE...ring me up a 360!"

Then Gamestop gives you $150 or some BS, and it's not even enough to get a 360 with. :(
