I never see this discussed here as I do on GAF and OPA, esp Doc Rock and his constant shit on the system.

What are our feelings to the PS3 dudes?

Only 3 games announced thus far have me interested in the console. Still buying a few though if anything i'll sell them before xmas if i dont get anything i want to play on them.

I really do think its overpriced and doomed in the market. People are trying to rationalize that its a good buy, but those that dont have HDTV's are still gonna buy it and see that shit really hasnt changed. But that could change cause they say the big family gift this year is HDTV's but were talking about millions of people that need to have HDTV to get the fullest out of the console. Samething can be said about the 360 i guess.

I say sony gonna do a dreamcast with this one.

I'm getting one just because I can't resist buying new things and I will eventually get one for MGS4

Well my feelings are summed up in the two most obvious issues, the price and the lack of games I want. I'm more interested in the outcome of the system than the system itself.  Is the Playstation brandname big enough to overcome what has been a fumbled console? That's interesting to me, but FF13 just is not.

Sadly FFXII is growing on me, its like a MMORPG that I can solo, which I do with real MMORPGS lol :(

I haven't seen anything on the PS3 that justifies the price, or makes me excited for it. Yeah MGS4 looks awesome, but I'm far more excited about Gears of War, Lost Planet, Blue Dragon, and Resident Evil 5.

The PS3 doesn't have any games that compete with stuff like Gears or Lost Planet right now. I'm not interested in more jappy fappy RPG crap. I missed all that stuff on the PS2, so I'd probably buy a PS2 if I wanted to play RPGs.
