Title: For those of you who play on emulators (on PC)....

is there a way to map the "Load" and "Save" buttons on your controllers?

plenty of buttons left unused and hitting load/save on the keyboard every few seconds gets annoying  :(

Use JoyToKey. It's your best friend especially with indie games that don't use controllers and for old Amiga/C64 games where you want to use a button to jump instead of hitting up.

Grab it here:

there is up to button 32 on the menu, but my playstation controller doesnt have that much buttons obviously. I have the PS2 controller hooked up on the computer through a usb converter.

what I basically need is to set the L2 button as Load (F5) and R2 as Save(F7).

Basically just figure out which button represents what for the pad you're use (look in Control Panel if you're using Windows). First hit Create and make a name soley for the program you are using. If you're using a PS2 pad and the L2 button is Button 10 then set that to F5. Make sure you have the JoyToPad window open when you're playing the game.
