Title: God of War PSP, more like Go of Wa PS

Because it was only 2/3 of a game!

I beat it on Romptacular Easy Mode on the flight from Houston to Phoenix, and it's pretty and entertaining and pretty entertaining. But what was up with that, uh, ending?

It really, really felt like there was an entire area missing after the Persephone fight--the Elysian Fields felt like a turning point for Kratos, not the conclusion. And then the non-animated ending is like, "and Kratos went back to Earth and totally kicked Morpheus' ass. Off-camera. THE END."

A decent game, really, and good boss battles (if in GoW1 numbers, lol). But I would have liked to have seen some more creative setpieces and fucking around with the mythology. Wait and buy it for $20 on PS2.

they already did, it's GOW 1 and 2 (PSP game is a prequel)

it ends right where the first GOW begins ... so yeah

I've never played a GOW game, but I was tempted to start with this one.  But 7 hours long?  Fuck that.

gow1 is only, like, an hour longer, which is like, long enough for most games nowadays, anyway

Patel, how long did it take you to beat it?  Some people said they beat it in 4 hrs.

um, definitely less than 6 hours. maybe 5?

I mean, I beat it entirely on two flights that are ~3 hours long, so...

clear times on Easy mode don't count now, do they? i'm almost at the end on Normal, with 8hrs on the clock (but with probably 1hr or so of idle time included).

I wouldn't say it's the best GoW so far, but it's by far my favorite PSP game. And the 1st game to really make me feel like i was playing a portable PS2.
