I recently set up a home wireless network and configured my 360, Wii, and PS3 for wireless access. However, the PS3 has been giving me problems. I have to reset my wireless router every time I go online with PS3. I remember reading somewhere about the PS3 and wireless networks issues. Has anyone had similar problems?

YOUR ROUTER SUCKS PS3 IS NOT THE PROBLEM
Seriously though, I dunno. I connect mine by wire and I get the same shit. I think people told me to turn off Media Sharing or something to fix it and it sorta worked. I don't connect often enough to tell you if it works or not :lol

I've had problems with the PS3 disconnecting wirelessly myself. It may be the channel your router is set to.
My PS3 is usually really close to my router though so I just hard-wire it.

My PS3 is about 8 feet away from my wireless, and it still gave me a shitload of trouble. I ended up going wired in the end.

I might just go wired for my PS3. It's a pain having to reset my router every few days.

only console i go wireless with is the wii for obvious reasons. (it used to give me lot of trouble like unable to find connection and slow downloads till the latest firmware, much better now)
i share the same ethernet cable between my 360 and ps3, i hardly switch my ps3 on so it's not a big deal lol.

wow, I feel lucky. I've yet to have a single issue with my wireless PS3. Other then that my pipe ain't so big and sometimes I get the lags.

My Wii would drop the wireless connection all the time. I thought it was my wireless router at first, so I dumped that and got a new one. Then I found out the Wii is temperamental if you don't use channel 1 or 11. Anyway, I'm kind of happy to have it connected via a wire now. I feel more comfortable about it, for some reason.
channel? hmm that might explain things.
my router channel is auto so i dunno if that's helping me or it's the recent firmware.

YMMV but I got the latest firmware update for my router and fixed all my console issues, but FYI I'm using wired for all gaming until wires just aren't available anymore :(
