Good deal?
I already have everything except UT3 although I'd have to look hard for my old CDs & keys. I don't know if any of the old games are worth playing today, except maybe for UT2k4. Are there still people that play UT2k4?

If you're going to buy UT3 anyway, it's a good deall. UT2k4 holds up pretty well, and there's still people that play it. GAF's Steam group did for a while, but now I think they all just play TF2.

UT2004 > UT3 - by a mile. Tons of mods already available plus it's got Assault.....why the hell didn't UT3 have Assault is beyond me. That's the best mode in the entire series.
Everything else on that list is meh. Just get 2004 and leave everything else behind.

i picked up ut2k4 for under $15. god i love that game

steam is so awesome.

I passed over UT3 when it came out and don't really regret it. COD4,TF2 and especially Quake Wars on the PC really hit the online FPS spot for me, and the parts of UT3 I did play felt really dated in comparison.
Epic has sort of refused to move beyond, in a lot of ways, their successes in the late 1990s with Unreal and UT99. This is fine for the US/European console folk-they love feasting on what PC gamers played years ago-but I vastly prefer something with more sophistication that what it is offering.

i forgot the sheer JOY of loading up onslaught with 32 bots and just going to town
so so so SO much fun!

I went back to UT2004 after playing UT3 for a bit. Granted, it was UT3 PS3, but i did use a keyboard/mouse!
I hate the changes they made to onslaught in UT3.
