I was kinda wanting to hold out for the slick GOW bundle, but I can't wait that long. So, I'm just gonna get it out of the way now.
I'm gonna pick up an 8 gig memory stick, but what else should I get with it? I'm definitely going to want to crack the system and put emus and stuff on there...any tips or anything that could steer me in the right direction?
Oh, and I will PAY for Crisis Core and Wipeout. But, I can't make too many other promises unless they're must haves.
Thanks :-*

You're good with an 8 gig stick. Do you know anyone with a cracked system that can do yours for you?
-
What kinda stuff do you like, games-wise?
-
once it's hacked go and download this:
Final_Fantasy_VII_Crisis_Core_USA_PSP-EMiNENT

himu was saying that's an AWESOME game
-
Do you need to know someone with a cracked system to crack your own? I've never cracked a system in my life so my knowledge of cracking the PSP is about as good as my knowledge of supply chain management of a third world fur trader.
pretty much, you do
-
get guilty gear judgment and wild arms xf and disgaea and crush
-
Yes it's coming in like May
I would hack your PSP but I dont have my fatty to do the magic with
-
why would you need a fatty, wouldn't a pandora battery suffice?
-
you need a -hacked psp- to make the pandora, and if my fatty is not here................................................
hyp you are smarter than this!!111
-
:-\
i thought all you needed was a pandora battery lying around to hack someone's PSP. i made one for that sole purpose.
-
i only had one battery!!111

my bad, i just assumed most PSP hax0rs like yourself had more than 1 battery. :lol
-
If I bought a pandora battery could I hack a new PSP myself?
i believe so, but i've been swinging for the fences in this thread, so let demi answer for you. :-*
-
as a recent new PSP owner myself, I can tell you youre making a great decision
I cant crack my system just yet but its still a good buy, games are v. cheap
Im really enjoying Lumines, Patapon and Pirates! on mine
BUY A PSP FORGOTTEN ANCIENT
-

yes
-
Do people still like Lumines? I'd suggest getting that.
And is Crush a good or better game than Super Paper Mario?

anything is better than super paper mario
What's the best RPG on this thing?
traditionally... brave story
srpg... probably wild arms xf
action rpg... crisis core?
-
What's the best RPG on this thing?
Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, I think.

i'll agree with brave story. it's quite good. OR RATHER it doesn't suck so hard i wish i were dead while playing it
srpg, i like joan d'arc even though the turn limits drive other players mad.
action rpg - how about gurumin?
-
I've been meaning to buy a PSP for a while now..but I'm always late with buying consoles hardware... I tend to buy them in their last years. Is PSP in it's last years?
-
It's in its last year if the new release list is any indication.
-
? ? ?
-
Already posted this topic, but there are very few games coming out for the PSP after this month. Himuro might pull out a few Japanese releases from his lubed butthole, but in terms of announced and planned North America releases - future looks grim.
Also, I really don't think God of War sold as well as Sony hoped. Stores in my district had some of the lowest pick-up percentages for any reserved game in a long time, and I'm holding on to a ton of backstock. PSP owners don't buy games. :(
-
A new PSP is 169 euros here. Thats way too freaking much for me.
-
oh, get hot shots golf open tee, my little lad
-
I, too, am looking for the coolest PSP combo for GOW. The last time I bought a PSP was for Lumines. Then I dropped the system 3 feet and it ceased to work ever again.
Thanks, Sony.
ANyone selling their pSP!??!?
-
i just ordered that max power tool deal.
-
:lol you probably know more than I do :(
-
Hey, what's a good case to get along with a PSP? I didn't get one with the rest of my order, but I'm gonna guess it's a good idea to do so.
This is the one I bought:

Grr...I have amazon Prime and I paid for the 1 day shipping, but the tracking is saying the PSP and FF hasn't shipped yet while everything else has. This better come in tomorrow :maf
i just signed up for prime this week
it's fuck awesome
i can't believe i went so long w/o it seeing how i'm a book buying maniac
-
I bought a plastic cover for it for that very reason. It's a dust/fingerprint MAGNET.
-
Well, my PSP's one of the old models so it probably wouldn't fit on yours...it's a piece of transparent hard plastic that snaps onto the top of the unit.
-
I'm so used to pixelly graphics after playing Gameboys and DS's over the last 18 years that I was absolutely floored by the resolution the PSP offers. :o
-
codejunkies still says my pandora battery is unshipped. fucking feggits
-
So, how's Parodius Portable? Pink Godzilla has new and used copies of the game in stock, and it's awfully tempting.
-
that's unfortunately the best you are gonna get, FA :lol
-
take some pics of your PSP Ancient :heart
-
i really want crisis core.
-
the final place is the crystal tower
-
if you like zelda esque games, you may want to try gurumin
it's honestly zelda light, but i felt it was well worth my money
-
I got ignored :'(
-
Hmm, I have no idea what gurumin is. I haven't really liked Zelda since LttP. Is it more like the old school Zelda games, or more similar to the 3D ones? I'm all about trying something fresh, even if it is "x"-lite. I mean, Brave Story feels like FF-lite and I'm enjoying it.

i think it's more like the old school ones, but there are some slight 3d platforming elements
-
I don't have one. I would like to see pictures of the screen in-game
-

Monster Hunter looks awesome but is it out in the US? I know it sells awesomely in Japan, but I don't know anyone here that plays it.
Monster Hunter Portable 1 and 2 came out for the PSP in North America under the Monster Hunter Freedom moniker. I have Monster Hunter Freedom 2, it's portable crack.
North America didn't get the G expansions, though.
