What the hell is the deal with PSP Mame?
why is it so stinky?
This is the final piece of the PSP jigsaw of awesomeness and it's substandard and neglected. :(
I decided to check out how the GP32/GP2X Mame was coming along, seeing as about a year ago they had 600+ games fully running on the 0.32 core.
And , good god, not only has mame compatibility gone through the roof , they also have FBA running pretty much everything (which means CAVE SHOOTERS ON THE GO - all reported to be running 100% :o )
smh @ PSP homebrewers - what's the deal here?
All the awesomeness going on elsewhere is in danger of being tarnished by the lack of good old arcade emulation (CPS1, CPS2, and Neogeo accounted for, but so much more missing)
Who can we drizzle with filthy milt until this gets completed? ZX-81?

MAME itself is built for compatability, not speed. It's probably tough to port.

It's probably tough to port.
but you'd have thought that if the GP32 and GP2X can both handle it at 100%, then the PSP should be able to mince it. :(
When was the last time MAME on PSP was updated? Two years ago?
