DIEBOLD guarantees a narrow Republican victory in both Houses. See: Florida; Ohio.

Thats why I knocked my predictions down. Polling shows it at 241 Democrats     193 Republicans

There is NO way they can somehow keep them in the lead in the House without fraud being apparent, this isn't a close election like in 2000 and 2004. It's a blowout Democrat lead where democrats are ahead 15-18% in polls for the house. What they CAN do is try to minimize the Democrat lead, but not stop it.

That sounds about right, but I doubt the dems will take the house. We'll see.

I won't predict anything

Erm....Republican insiders have conceded the house and are focusing on keeping the senate. The house is 100% gone. The question is not will they get the 15 seats needed, but will it be closer to 25 or 35.

:o

I certainly was not aware of that. But alas, I highly doubt I'll make any predictions.

And I still haven't done all my voting research. I want to ignore ALL the smear bullshit and then start looking up the candidates two days before the race.

Boy I don't want to vote for Granholm, but she's way better than DeVos :(

Granholm's lead on DeVos grows stronger and stronger. She is nearly 10% ahead now, but I haven't paid too much attention to that race. DeVos might have been able to win based on Michigan's economy if he didn't get stuck in such a anti-Republican year for the country. The strong anti-Republican wave has struck him down pretty hard.

The propositions are the key vote for Michigan this year. No house races are in play nor are the governership or senate.

Will Prop-2 pass? That is the key question. I am personally voting a big old NO on it.

What?  :lol In all of the non-party votes on the ballot I ALWAYS go for the minority or women if there is any running. I hate the white man status quo.

I'm a tad split on prop 2 myself, but I'll look more into it during my ELECTION CRAM SESSION

Yes, I suppose. Although Malek brought up some good points against it, I still believe in it. In an ideal world the discrimination laws in practice at job places would be enough, but oh well

Exactly. We aren't in the ideal world sadly. There are racists who would not hire women and minorities without this policy making them do so.
