She called a few minutes after leaving, and I made it a point to emphasize that I was at the cafe, where she was, and she responded with "well, time for me to go to bed. Maybe I will see you sometime later this week."

Truth.

She just did it again during lunch. Walked right by me and didn't say a word. However, I was with a HUGE group of friends and I was discussing the finer points of how awesome No Country for Old Men was, and I was on a caffeine high from the coffee I drank earlier, so I was bouncing around and being intimidating.

I'm done for the momemt with letting this bother me. I've got a movie viewing to organize for some people I know to watch the Blu-Ray awesomeness of No Country for MOTHER FUCKING OLD MEN so that's much more important to me right now.

And, of course, the bright side: since I don't have a girlfriend like I thought I was going to have, I'm going to have a lot more money to "study film" with, which is the studious term for buying a shitload of Blu-Ray and DVD sets that I really want this summer with my job revenue. I forsee a lot more "what the fuck did you buy" thread involvement in my future. Plus, less female hanging out time means that I will be able to beat Metal Gear Solid 4 a lot faster.

WHOOO COFFEE IS AWESOME.

I've been emailing lots of girls lately too, and attempting conversations with them, it's amazing how after 3 or 4 emails, these girls can cut you off. There was one girl who was a guitar player and anthropologist, who had a really cute picture up (nice blue eyes and light skin tone, looks very Irish), the emails were starting to get pretty long and detailed (4 or so emails back and forth to each other), and I said that "we should hang out when I get back from Miami" at the end of the most recent email to her. No response tho :( I sent another email out to another girl I've been mailing back and forth with, with the same line... and gave her my cell #. So we'll see if she calls or gets back to me, she's a cute, Italian-looking brunette who loves to travel. So far, the biggest prospect for me is this one girl who's a PA at Stony Brook, who spent her spring break at a friend's house in Virginia playing Galaxy all weekend and loves Chopin (she seemed pretty impressed when I namedropped some Chopin songs and stuff I learned from Eternal Sonata :lol). She is thin, and blonde...

My e-mail consisted of "Hello, how are you? Did you have a good weekend? Let's meet up for lunch or dinner soon. Please let me know when you're free." I kept it super simple since English isn't her first language.
