What? They're remaking Spaced? Like The Office style? I'm leaving America. You can't americanize Spaced.

Don't worry, it'll bomb and be off the air in less episodes than the original Spaced.
-
According to that article, Mike is now a government conspirator.
lol

God I hope so.
Demi, any news of Spaced ever getting released in NTSC? I'm planning on getting a region free player to get the Anniversary edition of Spaced just to have it on DVD, but it's only in PAL. imo Spaced is better than either of the movies Pegg and Frost have done together. It's just alot more consistent in humor.
-
Spaced is coming to NTSC in JULY
-
which set?
this one?

No details have been brought forward, but it has been confirmed Spaced is coming to NTSC
-
thank the good lord
-
July 23rd is the release date. Hopefully it's the 3-Disc Collector's Edition with Star Wars music intact, but nobody knows yet.

I thought the music rights made it financially impossible for a R1 version to ever come out?
But then again, Demi and all his cronies (like me) who bought Shaun of the Dead and/or Hot Fuzz on DVD probably made it feasible for the non-tea-drinking, non-monarchy-having parts of the world. Yea.

That's one of the things people are worried about, that the licensed music may have been axed.

4 copies of Hot Fuzz and 4 copies of Shaun sitting on my rack

Thank God we get the GOOD spaced.

Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz 3-disc collector's edition!
-
Demi are there any special editions of Shaun of the Dead out there on NTSC? The version I have is pretty light (one DVD with not much outside the film) compared to that ball-pwning 3-disc Hot Fuzz.
-
No
-
Mark Heap
You can find him on GREEN WING and BIG TRAIN (as well as Simon Pegg)

I wish there were, as I'd be all over it. I'm a bigger fan of Shaun than Hot Fuzz.
-
i couldn't get into spaced at all for the first series.
the second one however cilcked and it's hilariously awesome

What's that? Simon Pegg commented about the forthcoming R1 DVD set? (http://chud.com/articles/articles/14165/1/PEGG-TALKS-SCOTTY-AND-SPACED/Page1.html) You don't say.
We had Kevin Smith, Quentin Tarantino, Diablo Cody, and Matt Stone with us to do special new commentaries and I think Edgar is going to do a couple more on the episodes we didn’t get to with other people as well, so I think it’s going to be very clear to anyone that SPACED has a huge following in America already and that pleases us.
[The DVD arrives] in July. We will be at COMIC CON in conjunction with the release.
So they are getting as many famous American fans of Spaced together to do commentaries, ain't that neat? It's going to be fun listening to the Tarentino one and try to hear any other of the participants get a word in edgewise.
Also, one could infer, if they've got AAA level talent on the commentary tracks, it would make sense that they've slapped leather and kept the original music. Good news, eh?
-
Diablo Cody,
you have got to be fucking kidding me

I would prefer a straight out confirmation, but this is good news. Hearing Tarantino's dickface voice over Spaced will prove to be absolutely hilarious.
