i never really got into fnm until mike patton joined, and even then, i liked angel dust and king for a day better than the real thing because they felt like mike patton projects. the real thing has epic and falling to pieces and underwater love, but it still feels like a transitional album

and mr. bungle's disco volante was the soundtrack to my utterly miserable junior year of college, it holds a special place in my heart

i have a friend who is an absolute mike patton fanatic and she's given me tons of music to try to convert me, but it just never clicks for me.

it's interesting to listen to, but i wouldn't say "damn i need some mike patton right now"

oh, i liked what fantomas i've heard

I like Mr. Bungle more than anything else.  It's just so hyper.  I love how on Disco Volante, a single song will completely change itself up, seemingly randomly.  I like Fantomas a lot, too.  And Tomahawk.  I found the Peeping Tom album to be mostly disappointing, though it definitely had its moments.

Tomahawk is probably closest in sound to Faith No More.  It's general not as bizarre as the Fantomas stuff.

Fantomas is Patton, Buzz from The Melvins, some dude from Mr. Bungle, and the drummer from Slayer.  Sludge + thrash!

That Fantomas stuff is awesome.  If you guys like that you might like www.myspace.com/blottedscience (http://www.myspace.com/blottedscience) :rock

Prole:  Fantomas rocks.  They got shut off the stage by Rage Against the Machine in Utah for upstaging them.

:lol I want to know more about that.
