Title: So I finally got a copy of No More Heroes

this game had better be fucking awesome, Killer 7 was amazing and Ive been hyping the hell out of this since the original teaser trailer. Picking up my Wii tonight so I can finally play the damn game

cant waaaaiiittt

will probably play some DMC4 in the meantime

a lot of EB'ers said it was crap... but Ive watched some of the cutscenes on youtube and was like OMG this is too funny

yeah, i actually think it's pretty cool. at first i thought it played like shit and was just sticking with it for the crackbrained humor, but the fighting gets quite decent once you've built up your moveset. the story is a deliberate assemblage of awful genre cliches, and it has some striking moments. i never really got into killer 7, but now i want to give it another shot

I'm almost halfway through it and I quite like it.

The action IS pretty good.  Good, heck, competent 3D beat-em-ups are so rare that I'll give any one that succeeds extra credit even if its flawed in other areas (see also, Shadow of Rome).

i haven't played it yet because i have no wii and it's killing me. i think it looks fucking awesome though. that said, a lot of eb'ers weren't fans of K7 either.

It is an awesome game. And unllike Killer 7 it is also fun to play even without the story

yeah I did that, couldnt beat Henry though as he has a shitload of health and it was too late at night to concentrate for a long battle. I'll give it another shot today
