What the HELL happened here?
the AI... ugh.
Now i'm sure perhaps the illussion was a little bit better hidden in RB6vegas , but this thing is borked.
* I've had people spawning in rooms i've cleared (THAT HAVE NO ENTRANCES!)
* people appearing behind me suddenly and shooting me
* bullets that come through walls (yes, i know you can shoot through cover, but THAT EXCLUDES MASSIVE CONCRETE WALLS SURELY?!)
* friendly AI that's so dumb you have to tell them "please patch up that guy who is bleeding to death infront of you, thanks!"
* CPU AI that can shoot through objects you can't (I'm right by the stairs shooting down clearly through the gap, but the CPU below who is further away can draw a target on my nostril hair whilst never missing)
* constant respawn points - kill house : go upstairs, turn right, watch as enemy after enemy comes down the rappel.
So disappointing. I liked the ACES thing for about 30 minutes until i realised you have to start avoiding headshotting people because shooting someone from behind or at close range is worth more exp.
There's a lack of variety in the ACES system and it's ultimately pretty dull.
gah - this was supposed to make my pants twitch, instead i'm left scratching my head wondering how they could botch up the follow up to a game that, until this previous week, i was playing every few days.

p.s. Where the FRIG is LVU Campus!? ARGGGHH YOU ASSHOLES.

yea, it's pretty fucked. even playing w/ low density on realistic was fuck hard. dudes spring outta nowhere and you're basically ass raped within the first few minutes if you don't hide ride away. even then, the AI somehow knows where you are at all times.

That reminds me of the dam level in the first game where you have people coming behind you from one of the garages. But after the first time, you know where they'll come from and there is no respawning.
I'm glad I'm waiting for the PC version. The problems should be toned down after a couple of patches.

Terror hunts are useless now, the best part was not knowing where people were coming from.

nope, they were random in vegas and rainbow 6 3 and black arrow.

I never even thought about it, I wiped it from my brain until you just mentioned it.

It's so distinguished mentally-challenged, the best part about R6 3 was that the guys didn't spawn, they were put there are the start of the level and it was always random. Sometimes a room would have 6 guys, the next time it would be empty. I'd always love throwing random grenades and hearing guys yell out "GRENADA" and run into a spray of bullets.

yeah, my heart sank on Killhouse when i walked round the corner and one enemy after another spawned on the second floor rappel point.
