There's already a bunch of info because it's been pirated already.  I'm going to play it "unofficially" but of course still buy it thursday.

Shouldn't be surprised, but people have beaten the shit out of the game already.   :o

There seems to be less stages than the original...just eight stages per story and no gaiden stages, but there's at least one new mode (dramatic) with set scenarios and fixed teams with their own stories to play through.

Played a couple of stages and noticed some stuff:

I'm sure the point was to get video up as quickly as possible, not to look good.  It's still crazy that there are people who seem to have unlocked virtually everything already-- I wonder if there are cheat device codes already out too.  That just seems TOO quick.

I have the game now-- talk about a RECYCLE FEST!  They reused a lot of assets from the original game...not just the same soldiers and character models this time, but also music and menus right out of the first game.  It's a little disappointing in the presentation regard, but gamefaqqers are saying they've changed up some characters or stats and what not.
